In 2011-2012 and 2012-2013, we participated in a partnership between the University of Iowa and the City of Dubuque. Dubuque had become well known in the last few years for the city’s commitment to sustainability and was therefore a natural fit with the University’s and School of Urban and Regional Planning’s commitment to both sustainability and community engagement. Based on a series of meetings with over 25 community leaders, Dubuque and the School agreed that our students would focus on the following five projects in 2011-2012.
|Indicators and Indicator Measurements for the 11 Sustainability Principles||5.3 MB|
|Renewable Energy Asset Mapping||5.9 MB|
|Portrait of Poverty in Dubuque||4.9 MB|
|Local Foods and Local Institutions||3.6 MB|
|Local Foods Dubuque, The Action Plan||4.1 MB|
