In 2011-2012 and 2012-2013, we participated in a partnership between the University of Iowa and the City of Dubuque. Dubuque had become well known in the last few years for the city’s commitment to sustainability and was therefore a natural fit with the University’s and School of Urban and Regional Planning’s commitment to both sustainability and community engagement. Based on a series of meetings with over 25 community leaders, Dubuque and the School agreed that our students would focus on the following five projects in 2012-2013.
|Dubuque County Sustainability Indicators||9MB|
|Increasing Mobility in Dubuque: Developing Alternative Mode-sharing Opportunities||4MB|
|Housing for a Vibrant Dubuque: Neighborhood Choice and Redevelopment in Dubuque, Iowa||4MB|
|Schools, Neighborhoods, and Student Outcomes (short report)||1MB|
|Schools, Neighborhoods, and Student Outcomes (long report)||4MB|
|Reimagining the South Port of Dubuque||7MB|
