The Urban Hawk: An exploration of urban, regional, and community planning

The Urban Hawk is a blog hosted and peer-reviewed by Urban and Regional Planning graduate students at the University of Iowa. It is intended to be a common space through which students, faculty, and community members exchange ideas and information about a wide range of planning issues: from economic and community development, climate change and housing, transportation and historic preservation, to infrastructure and the natural environment. The Urban Hawk is a forum for discussion and healthy debate across the political, academic, and ideological spectrum. We invite current and former students, faculty, and community members, from a variety of backgrounds, to submit content on a rolling basis.
